If you are looking for a romantic getaway or just a peaceful retreat in the mountains, this is a place for you. It is nestled in the pines with mountain views all around. Our room was very clean and comfortable and there are nice common areas available. It looks like a lodge, but functions like a bed & breakfast. The owners are friendly and aim to please. You do have to navigate stairs to access the dining room and other common areas. We enjoyed the tasty breakfast that is included and we opted for the Candlelight dinner which was so special and delicious.

The Silver Lake Lodge is one of the cleanest and most well-run B&B's we've ever stayed at. The beds are extremely comfortable, the food is terrific. Where else can you experience 5-star dining at this elevation?This adults-only retreat is quiet, private, and serene. It would also be perfect for a wedding party or other similar type of event. The hosts have years of experience in the hospitality industry and it shows- the attention to detail is much appreciated. We enjoyed the morning coffee bar, the panoramic mountain views in the common areas, and the blue jays outside of our window. The water in the shower was so spa-like it left my skin and hair so soft. You must hike up to Saint Mary's Glacier while you are here. If you are considering whether to spend the extra dollar to stay here you will not regret it.

We stayed up here for one night and the hosts were amazing and very nice! Beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and it is walking distance from St. Mary's Glacier. Overall, would highly recommend coming here!

Very nice rooms and common areas. Beautiful views rustic log home. Nice level entrance unfortunately there are very steep steps going to those areas and the dining room. Space heaters worked well in the rooms. Nice shower comfortable beds. We ordered a four course meal for the arriving night. Food was very good but not sure it was worth the $185 price tag. Definitely order the food or get something before the 10,500 foot elevation drive. Once your there you won’t want to drive back to town for food.Very nice hostess Margret made us feel at home.
